Qatar Investment Authority (QIA) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohamed bin Saud al-Thani has visited Washington and New York.
In Washington, HE Sheikh Abdullah met with President and CEO of the US Chamber of Commerce Thomas J Donohue, as well as representatives of major US companies operating in Qatar.
The meeting discussed the QIA’s plan in the United States, as well as the investment in the infrastructure programme which will be launched later this year in addition to enhancing trade co-operation between the two countries in various sectors.
During his visit to New York, the QIA CEO also met with the partners of the Authority and representatives of investment funds and banks to discuss ways of boosting investment co-operation between the State of Qatar and the United States.
