Ooredoo volunteers share Iftar at EHSAN

Last night, a host of Ooredoo volunteers shared Iftar with patients at the Qatar Foundation for Elderly Care (EHSAN). This act of kindness was not only part of Ooredoo’s ‘Hand-In-Hand’ CSR Ramadan campaign, but a way for the younger generation to spend time and learn from the elderly residents.
Ooredoo’s delegation was received by a group of employees and patients from the Foundation and after breaking their fast together; Ooredoo presented gifts to the elderly and congratulated the organisation for their work in Qatar.
Manar Khalifa Al Muraikhi, Director Community & Public Relations, Ooredoo, said: “I’m delighted to say that a large group of Ooredoo volunteers had the opportunity to spend time with the brilliant patients at EHSAN last night. ” “The Qatar Foundation for Elderly Care always does such an amazing job of caring for the people who helped shape our country and we thank the team and patients for having us back, to break our fasts with them this year,” Al Muraikhi said.
Jaber Mohammed Al Marri, Director Media and Communications Office, EHSAN, said: “We would like to thank the Ooredoo team for the great efforts and contributions they’re making to help those in need.”
“As every year, seeing them breaking fast with the elders at EHSAN was heart-warming. We look forward to continuing our cooperation with the company, as it will enhance the quality of the services we provide and, consequently, the elders’ quality of life. We encourage all the companies to follow in the footsteps of Ooredoo this Ramadan and spread happiness in the hearts of our loved ones,” added Al Marri. Ooredoo’s 2017 Ramadan CSR campaign ‘Hand-In-Hand’ will include a host of important community initiatives this holy month and the company hope their messaging inspires customers to join in with the good deeds.
