Owing to a Gold Pass available to customers of all ages at only QR165 inclusive of entry and all rides, Entertainment City has become one of the major attractions in Doha.
For the visitors who are unwilling to avail Gold Pass offer, entry pass costs QR15 but in that case one visitor has to pay separately for individual rides installed at the Entertainment City. Cost of different thrill games and rides range from QR15-QR50.
“Activities are affordable especially if you get the Gold Pass,” said Janet, a visitor who was visiting Entertainment City with her two kids. “I think there are a lot of choices for the children, it’s very exciting!”
Entertainment City is providing affordable and delightful entertainment to both children and adults as there is something for everybody to enjoy. With a wide range of activities, virtual reality games and food options available, it is easy to see why it has a hot spot of entertainment and recreation amongst families.
Colorful choices include “Play Station VR”, “Big Wave Surf Machine”, “Mechanical Bull”, “Trampolines”, “5km Obstacle Course”, among others.
The obstacle race installed at Entertainment City is the largest in the world therefore is one of the visitors-pulling attractions.
Janet told The Peninsula: “The 5km obstacle course has been amazing”. Alanoud Almesnad, another attendee enjoying the activities at Entertainment City shared her opinion stating, “This is the second time I attend these festival activities, I attended last year’s entertainment city and in my opinion, there’s a wider variety of games and activities provided for us this year.”
Almesnad added: “I especially enjoyed the trampoline section as it is set up like an obstacle race, which combines adventure while challenging kids to engage physically in the games. In my opinion, it also helps in equipping children with problem solving skills when they are trying to overcome the challenges in these games”.
Although, she mentioned, that she would have enjoyed it more had there been activities and games catering to women. Overall, she feels that all age groups are free to enjoy these games and the “prices are very reasonable”.
When asked about her opinion on this year’s Entertainment City, another visitor Sarah Simpson stated: “I think it’s really good, there are a lot of activities and lots of food options on offer, a lot of things for different ages which is really good.”
