QIIB, one of the leading Shariah-compliant banking and financial services providers in Qatar, honoured a number of senior employees in appreciation of their long service, dedication to work, and loyalty towards the Bank and its customers.
Sheikh Dr Khalid bin Thani bin Abdullah Al Thani, Chairman and Managing Director of QIIB, presented the certificates of appreciation to the employees, at a Ramadan dinner celebration, in the presence of Abdulbasit Ahmad Al Shaibei, QIIB CEO, and a number of senior executives.
The honoured employees include: Ali Hamad Ali Thani Al Musaifri , Abdel Sabour Bashir Hussein Ahmed, Ahmed Fouad Ahmed Ballan, Mona Khalifa Mohammad Saleh Al Malki, Bassam Ali Wadi, Fayyad Ahmed Abdul Ali, Mohammed Farouq Shah Mohammad, Zubair Maniuth Koyakot, Assem and Ahmed Al Nour Mohammed.
Sheikh Dr Khalid appreciated the efforts made by the honoured employees throughout their tenure in different departments and sections of the bank. He said a dedicated employee mirrors a well-behaving person in life who truly respects the principles and values of work and achievement.
“The QIIB staff members have all necessary qualifications that pave the way for innovation and improvement of the work levels. We can see the great efforts made by the management and cadre of the bank through the good results achieved, growth rates, expansion of the customer base, and also through our direct gauging of customer satisfaction, which we always seek to keep up to a high level,” said Sheikh Dr Khalid.
Al Shaibei added: “Honouring a number of QIIB senior employees is actually a recognition of their great efforts throughout the previous period. It is as well an opportunity to confirm that human wealth and its retention is top on our priorities”.
He said: “We are reemphasising our strategy in the field of human resources, based on the highest standards that promote achievements, innovations and loyalty, and we are building job relationships based on team spirit; the team that works harmoniously to achieve the best results in a way that serves the interest of everyone.”
He also stated that QIIB gives special attention to supporting the work environment, whether by providing special professional standards or through the qualification and training programmes that cover all employees to keep them updated with the latest banking developments and related issues.
