The price of OPEC basket of thirteen crudes stood at $50.87 a barrel on Friday, compared with $49.87 the previous day, OPEC announced Monday.
Meanwhile, the monthly average price of OPEC basket of crudes was $51.44 a barrel for April, compared to $50.32 a barrel in March.The annual average price of OPEC basket of crudes was last year was $40.76 per barrel.
The OPEC Reference Basket of Crudes (ORB) is made up of the following: Saharan Blend (Algeria), Girassol (Angola), Oriente (Ecuador), Rabi Light (Gabon), Iran Heavy (Islamic Republic of Iran), Basra Light (Iraq), Kuwait Export (Kuwait), Es Sider (Libya), Bonny Light (Nigeria), Qatar Marine (Qatar), Arab Light (Saudi Arabia), Murban (UAE) and Merey (Venezuela).
