Ooredoo volunteers distributed Iftar boxes along National Day (ND) Celebration Road as the company continues to give back to the communities during Ramadan.
The event, which took place from 5.30pm, saw Ooredoo volunteers give Iftar boxes to people exercising on the road, which is a popular destination for cyclists and runners.
Manar Khalifa al-Muraikhi, director, PR and corporate communications at Ooredoo, said: “Exercising during the holy month is important but also very difficult, and so we wanted to celebrate the hard work of everyone staying fit and healthy on National Day Celebration Road and
#ShareAMoment with them.”
Ooredoo said “this act of kindness” is part of company’s 2017 Ramadan CSR campaign ‘Hand-in-Hand’. Ooredoo still has a host of important community initiatives planned this holy month. Customers can follow Ooredoo’s Ramadan Hand-in-Hand campaign via its Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter page and the hashtag #ShareAMoment.
