Wanted by the MUC crowdsourcing platform: creative ideas
What might help the time pass more quickly for passengers waiting for their luggage? What do passengers want to see in the gate area before departure, and what do meeters and greeters need? Creative minds are invited to submit their answers to these questions to Munich Airport’s crowdsourcing platform at www.innovationpilot.de. The InnovationPilot is ready for the third round under the heading: “Your trip to/from the gate – with a difference…” The focus is on Terminal 1. From now until the end of July, the airport will welcome all suggestions on how to make the trip from curbside to the gate or vice versa more relaxing, fun or interesting. The portal is also open to innovative ideas on how to make good use of waiting times in Terminal 1, for example at security checkpoints or when picking up passengers.
The goal of the crowdsourcing platform is to get visitors and passengers involved from the earliest planning stages of new projects, giving them the opportunity to play an active role in planning the way things run at the airport. The only requirement for participants is to complete the online registration at www.innovationpilot.de. All postings will later be open to comments, ratings, discussion and improvements by the online community. The best suggestion will win a special VIP check-in service for two persons. Second prize is a 100 euro shopping voucher valid at all stores and restaurants at Munich Airport. The third-best entry will receive free admission for two persons to the Europa or Atlantik Lounge. The winners will be notified at the end of August.
