Qatar’s fashionistas and couture fans were given a sneak preview of an eye-catching new collection of designs by leading local fashion house Stylek Design as models walked the catwalk in carefully created one-off pieces at a glamorous evening event.
Glamour and influence mixed elegantly and seamlessly as distinguished invited guests – including an Elite group of ladies, prominent businesswomen, media representatives and social media influencers and bloggers – attended the launch of Stylek’s latest collection ‘Amber’ – a range influenced by the Arabian Gulf and North Africa with Moroccan touches and a twist of ancient Andalusian style by Mrs. Noora Al Hajri.
The glamorous night of fashion, organized by leading events specialists Lilac Events, and sponsored by Chic & Posh Beauty Lounge, presented guests with the unique opportunity to browse the new Stylek collection while networking. They were also treated to a ‘Mix and Match’ style session with top personal stylist and fashion blogger Emna Hedi.
Stylek’s glamorous new collection drew plenty of admiring glances and interest with the designs aimed at a wide cross-section of females in Qatar. The latest collection is an innovative mix of high-end fashion sophistication, and environmentally friendly materials as each piece is handmade with care using non-polyester fabrics including pure cutton, linen and pure silk and chiffon.
Made with love by a Qatari lady for ladies of Qatar the stylish pieces cover a range of needs, from brides, to businesswomen, housewives and mums. The evening, at Stylek Design boutique in Al Gharrafa, was a huge success for Lilac Events Team. Lilac Events is an events specialist, spearheaded by serial entrepreneur Mrs Nora Al Hajri, with the capacity to organize and host gatherings to suit all occasions, from an intimate afternoon tea, to lavish weddings.
“It filled me with great pride to see all the women here at the event enjoying themselves, getting the opportunity to be the first to see Stylek’s stunning new collection, while networking and sharing experience and fashion advice,” said Mrs Al Hajri. “The models looked great, it was seamless and the session with Emna was greatly received.
