Ooredoo yesterday announced that it plans to boost Qatar’s education sector by investing in world-class connectivity to prepare youth for the digital economy.
To ensure a first-class education, Qatar’s schools and universities are rapidly deploying the latest technology collaboration solutions to prepare students for the workplace.
In particular, Ooredoo is seeing educational demand for its Smart Wi-Fi solution, which delivers highly-available cloud solutions that can enable connected education.
“With human development a key factor of Qatar National Vision 2030, Ooredoo is committed to delivering the smart educational tools that will enhance Qatar as a global leader in connected education. Qatar’s educational institutions will be able to manage their resources more effectively and support students’ digital needs,” said Manar Khalifa al-Muraikhi, director, PR and corporate communications at Ooredoo.
Ooredoo Smart Wi-Fi allows students to easily and securely collaborate on class projects using mobile devices and connect with students around the world, while educators can also distribute their content to students online.
On the back-end, educational institution IT staff using Smart Wi-Fi can provide secure digital records, support innovative research and development in key industry verticals, and monitor and optimise Wi-Fi usage during demand peaks.
