Qatar Participates in 32nd Session of Arab Customs Union

The State of Qatar took part in the 32nd session of the Arab Customs Union which kicked off at the Arab League headquarters in Cairo Sunday, represented by a delegation from the General Authority of Customs.
The two-day meeting aims at discussing the outcome of the Arab unified customs tariff committee meetings, and the importance of standardizing the customs tariff to facilitate the trade exchange between the Arab countries.
The participants will also discuss a permanent item on the follow-up of the developments of the Greater Arab Free Trade Area, and the acceleration of the harmonization of customs tariffs, leading to the establishment of the Arab Customs Union. (QNA)
